Sobre Agua Ayni

Agua Ayni es un proyecto ambiental que busca restaurar la fertilidad de los valles de la cuenca del río Piscobamba en los Andes del sur en Ecuador mediante técnicas de permacultura y la reintegración del agua de lluvia al suelo.

Nuestro Impacto

Trabajamos para combatir la sobre-extracción de agua y la deforestación, promoviendo ciclos del agua saludables que prevengan incendios, sequías y otros problemas ambientales que afectan a las comunidades.

El problema

Uno de los mayores prooblemas ambientales del que se habla muy poco es la sobre-extracciòn de agua del subsuelo y la pérdida del ciclo del agua.

La deforestación y la sobre-extracción de agua afectan la humedad del suelo, y eso atrae incendios, sequías, infertilidad del suelo, derrumbes, inunddaciones y demás alteraciones ambientales que afectan la vida de las personas.

La solución

Implementamos técnicas de la permacultura al terreno para permitir que el agua de lluvia reingrese a la tierra y que la fertilidad vuelva a nuestro valle.

Queremos enseñar a todos a hacerlo.

Ayni significa "Reciprocidad" en kichwa.

Reciprocidad es devolver a la tierra toda el agua que nos ha dado generosamente.

¿Son nuevas estas técnicas?

No son nuevas. Por muchos años y también ahora se han puesto en práctica con gran éxito en diferentes lugares del mundo.
